Watermelon Strong

Lord tonight we pray for the discouraged cowgirl. One step forward and two steps back or sideways. She may be sidelined with another injury or still not "clicking" with a new horse. Perhaps it's a job, relationship, or finances that have thrown wrenches in her new year plans and goals. Just when she thinks she sees the light at the end of this tunnel, instead it was just a flash and disappointment sets back in. So tonight Lord we pray for perseverance and guidance through what feels like a dark valley. We pray Lord, You remind her of the times she has felt discouraged before and how the burden lifted and Your truth prevails. Give her grace and strength on the days she feels her faith weaken. May she reach deep into her faith and remind herself that her fear is a liar, and this too shall pass. And as the light breaks through and her smile returns, Lord we pray she be reminded to give You all the Glory.
