Good morning!
PSA to our clients or one's wanting to become clients as to our scheduling and fees moving forward.

We are an APPOINTMENT ONLY based clinic. We have ONE veterinarian and he can only be spread so thin. We are a small practice currently busting at the seams due to an overwhelming increase in new clients/pets. We may not be far from stepping back from accepting new clients if this persists.

PLEASE be patient with us and understand there may be days/weeks where we cannot get you in and have to refer. We absolutely hate having to turn away clients, especially long term clients who have been with us for many years.

Understand that if you choose to show up anyways knowing we do not have availability and we have to "work you in" through other appointments there is an automatic exam fee of $150. NO EXEPTIONS, plus whatever treatment costs are and those are expected to be paid in full at time of service. WE DO NOT TAKE PAYMENT PLANS.

If you do not show up for an appointment or do not give us a 24hr notice on needing to cancel/reschedule it's an automatic $25 fee added to acct. If the appointment is for two animals there will be a $50 fee since that appointment would be scheduled for an hour.

If you no show or call late to reschedule for a surgery that is an automatic $50 fee added to acct. We absolutely understand things come up. Leave us a voicemail the day before if after hours if you do not want to incure a fee. This has been our policy for the last 4 years. It's not an issue if needing to cancel, just please do it ahead of time if you do not want a fee added to account.

Thank you all for understanding. Noticing an uptick in walk-in appointments and needed to address this to help cut down on those. Please be mindful that we are already stretched and just showing up just adds to it and disrupts the appointments others took the time to make ahead of time.

Good afternoon!
Well, the sun did not do it's job today with melting away the ice rink we currently have as a parking lot. So, all appointments and surgeries for tomorrow have been rescheduled.

We are hopeful the sun will make a grand entrance tomorrow morning and go to work on melting this stuff off. As of right now we are expecting to be open on Thursday. May push back opening to 10a.m. if freezing temps make more hazardous road conditions.

I will continue to message clients and post here for updates. Thank you for understanding that these weather conditions are out of our control and cannot be helped. We want to be back at the clinic and back to normal just as much as you need us there. Stay safe with these icy roads. Pics of our ice rink🥶

Good evening!!
TVS will be CLOSED tomorrow as well. Due to our parking lot becoming an ice rink. Dr. T says we will allow the sun to melt it off to be able to open on Wed morning. If you're still hesitant to drive please don't worry. I can easily get you rescheduled.

I've been in contact with Dr. T and with temps staying in the teens today and temps plummeting to single digits over night we will be CLOSED for tomorrow to ensure the safety of our employees and clients. Too much freezing rain came down yesterday and last night to risk it.

Looking forward to warmer temps and getting back to serving our clients and their pets needs.

We will be watching how the roads and temps are on Sunday into early morning hours on Monday. If roads are still icy or have patches of ice and temps are not above freezing we will be closed until roads are safe and clear.

I will post here on Sunday if roads are still affected and decide to stay closed. We cannot go off of how Hwy 199 will look as it's been highly treated and has more traffic. We have a lot of clients that live down back roads etc and completely understand not wanting to risk it. As well as some of our employees who do not live on well traveled roads, safety comes first.

There will not be any cancel/reschedule fees added for anyone who already has an appt on Monday, EVEN IF WE ARE OPEN. We understand that some may feel comfortable driving in these conditions but as we know Texans aren't #1 rated ice drivers so better to not risk it unless it's an absolute emergency. We don't see this white stuff often so for our newcomers from other states, yes it will become a ghost town so be prepared.

Please stay safe and warm and bring those fur babies inside to ensure their safety as well. Weather is predicting this storm to be worse than the 2021 storm so please prepare yourselves. ❤️
