Our grandbabies homecoming!

Crystal Brock Baney

Recently our home has become Tik Tok (semi) famous lol..someone in the school line videoing it did the honors! That was cute and we have some more followers that we hope to see at future events. But, one comment really hurt, and I know it shouldn't, but I tend to take things to heart. I was told that, basically in short, that I am "flexing" when it comes to my home. We never want people to feel that way, we are down to earth folks wanting to give back to a community that has given us so much. Here is what I mean, I have lived in Springtown since 1998, and Mike has lived in Springtown and surrounding area since the 1980s. I taught as a assistant teacher right across the street at SES from 2005-2008. We opened our business in Springtown 2013. We worked hard, had to go to Neighbors to Neighbors MANY times for help in the past, and always thought if we ever get into a position to give back WE WILL! So we saved for 15 YEARS, had the option to hold out for a new build, but this old place kept calling our name. We had a plan to host events at minimal or no cost to the community. We want to give back, that will ALWAYS be the goal. So, if you see us out on the porch (now that it's getting cooler), stop by if you please! We will open the gate and make ya some tea! :) Otherwise, we will see you at one of the upcoming events. Much love to our neighbors and community!

More work on this ole girl. With a home 102 years old, works is never done ❤️
