You don’t have to know what’s wrong with your shoulder before getting it checked. ❌
That’s what an evaluation is for. ✅

Dr. Moss shares three things we look for to better understand your shoulder pain and what comes next.
No referral? You can still schedule an evaluation!

Already have one? Think of it like a prescription—you generally get to choose where you take it. Our team can help check your insurance requirements before your visit.

📞 Call/text 817-220-6677 to schedule your shoulder evaluation in Springtown.

A new face and two milestones worth celebrating! ✨

Welcome Stacey, our newest PT. We’re glad to have you on the MOSS team!

And a big congratulations to Harmony and Micah, who both passed their PTA exams! 🥳

Harmony spent several years with us as a tech, and Micah joined us as a student before coming on full time. Getting to watch them grow into these new roles makes this milestone extra special.

Help us welcome Stacey and congratulate Harmony and Micah!

Our legal department has informed us that we do not have a legal department.

We do, however, have a team that helps people work through shoulder pain! ✅

Follow along this month for practical tips, exercise demonstrations, and answers to common shoulder questions.

Spotted in the wild: a man with impeccable taste. ✨
We're obviously talking about the shirt.

The motorcycle is cool too, we guess. 🤭

👉 Standing Terminal Knee Extension
(featuring the soothing sounds of every timer going off simultaneously)

This is an exercise we use to work on active knee extension and quadriceps control.

With the resistance behind the knee, start with a slight bend. From there, contract the quadriceps and straighten the knee against the resistance, focusing on reaching full extension with control.

A few things we’re looking for:
→ A strong quadriceps contraction
→ Controlled movement in both directions
→ Full, active knee extension
→ Good positioning without using momentum to compensate

Why does this matter? 👇
The quadriceps play an important role in controlling the knee during activities like standing, walking, and navigating stairs. Restoring strength and control through terminal knee extension can be an important part of rehabilitation.

Not sure what your knee needs next? We can help with that.

We had such a great time at the Wild West Festival catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and getting to spend the day with the community we’ve been fortunate enough to serve for the past two decades. ✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the MOSS booth, said hello, shared a story, or just came by to see what we were up to.

20 years later, this community still gives us plenty to be grateful for. 🤍

Yes, you can squat after a knee injury or surgery, but not in the traditional way you’re thinking. 👇

Machines like the Total Gym give us more control over how much load your knees are managing as you strengthen after an injury.

Having the right equipment, like the Total Gym, gives us more ways to meet you where you are in your recovery journey, instead of asking your body to meet us there. So we got three of them. 😉

Come see us and experience why MOSS has been a trusted name in recovery for over 20 years. 💙
