’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring... except one tiny mouse!

He’d crashed the big party with cookies and cheer,
Nibbling crumbs by the tree, spreading holiday fear.

Then ants joined the fun, trailing sugar and spice,
And roaches in sweaters—oh, they looked rather nice!

Spiders strung tinsel (uninvited, of course),
While termites munched quietly on the North Pole’s old horse.

The stockings were hung, but now filled with surprise—
Little pests throwing parties right before our eyes!

But fear not, dear friends, for we’ve got the solution,
To evict these crashers with swift ex*****on!

From Classic Pest Control Operators, Inc.,
We’ll make your home merry—bug-free in a wink!

So enjoy your eggnog, your lights, and your tree,
With no uninvited guests scurrying free.

Call us today at 817-444-0371,
For a pest-free Christmas—second to none!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night—
May your holidays sparkle with nary a bite!

🌟 Discover the Sneaky Obtuse Euchlaena Moth in North Texas! 🌙 This local legend is a camouflage genius! 🕵️‍♀️ Its caterpillars pose as twigs, complete with sneaky humps and stripes to trick hungry birds. At night, adults blend into tree bark with purplish-gray wings and a pop of yellow—pure moth magic! Found from Canada to our own Texas backyards, they snack on roses and jewelweed (fancy, right?). 🥀🌿 Females lay up to 230 eggs that hatch in just 3-4 days! Coolest trick? Their jagged hindwings make them vanish against bark, outsmarting bats like pros. 🦇 Seen one in your garden? Drop a pic or story below and tag a friend to join the moth hunt!

✨ Did you know the Common Eupithecia moth is part of the world’s largest moth genus with over 1,400 species? 🌍 These tiny moths may be small, but their larvae are master camouflagers, blending perfectly with twigs as they inch along! 🐛🌿

Their caterpillars, often called inchworms or loopers, move by looping their bodies in a unique "measuring" motion because they have fewer prolegs than other caterpillars. Some species even take this camouflage further by standing rigidly still during the day, mimicking twigs to avoid birds. Remarkably, a few Hawaiian Eupithecia inchworms have evolved to be ambush predators—they catch and eat unsuspecting insects that touch their backs! 🦗⚡️

Garden spiders are amazing little artists! 🕷️ They start by shooting a silk thread that floats on the breeze until it finds the perfect spot — sometimes a branch, sometimes right along a building. Then they pull tight lines to build a beautiful, wheel-shaped frame. After that, they add a super sticky spiral that works like fly-catching glue to trap their dinner. And get this—they build the entire web in just about 30 minutes and even eat their old webs to recycle the silk! Nature’s engineering at its best. 🕸️💫

🎶🐛 Did you know? Katydids have ears on their front legs—not their heads! 👂🦗 They create their enchanting sounds by rubbing their wings together, and males use these songs to serenade females under the moonlight 🌙🎵. Some even send secret messages through gentle vibrations traveling along plant stems 🌿💬 to avoid attracting hungry bats 🦇 — nature's clever way to communicate safely! Sometimes males and females even perform duets, making the night come alive with beautiful symphonies 🎶✨.

🍂🐝 Did you know? In fall, male and queen red paper wasps swarm tall towers like little aerial dancers before mating! 🏢🗼 Males gather around tall structures like TV towers or amusement park rides, trying to attract females by releasing special scents. This swarming is a courtship dance before mating — after which males die and mated queens find cozy shelters to survive winter ❄️🏡. The rest of the colony doesn’t make it through the cold season.

Come spring 🌸, these brave queens emerge and start building new nests from scratch — a fresh start with just a few workers and one queen! Their nests only last one season, but their story continues year after year 🔄.
