As a business owner, there are certain moments that remind you why integrity and hard work matter. Being trusted to reroof a building for a city is one of those moments.
Projects like these carry a different level of responsibility because they impact an entire community. Knowing that the reputation we’ve built led to that trust is something we’re incredibly grateful for.
At Recon Construction Group, we believe quality work, honesty, and doing right by people will always speak louder than flashy sales tactics. Opportunities like this don’t happen overnight, they come from consistently showing up, standing behind your work, and treating every project with care no matter the size.
Grateful for the opportunity, the trust, and everyone who continues to support and recommend us along the way.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything for this country.
As a veteran-owned company, Memorial Day means more to us than just a long weekend. It’s a reminder of the sacrifice, brotherhood, resilience, and courage carried by those who never made it home.
To the fallen heroes, we honor you. To the families carrying their memory every day, we stand with you. And to all who have served beside them, we remember.
Freedom has never been free, and today we reflect with deep gratitude for those who paid the ultimate price so we could live the lives we do today.
From our Recon family to yours, thank you to every Gold Star family and every service member who answered the call.
All gave some, some gave all. 🇺🇸

One of the best feelings in business is getting a referral from someone who was originally referred to you by another customer. That kind of trust means more than any advertisement ever could.
In today’s world, a lot of people focus on making a quick dollar, but doing what’s right for people will always go further in the long run. Being honest, communicating clearly, and treating homeowners the way you’d want your own family treated builds something money can’t buy—real relationships and trust.
A lot of our growth at Recon Construction Group has come from word of mouth, repeat customers, and referrals from people who experienced firsthand that we genuinely care about helping, not just selling.
We truly appreciate every homeowner who recommends us to their friends, family, and neighbors. That trust never goes unnoticed.

The honor system doesn’t seem to mean as much to a lot of people anymore, but we still believe it matters.
In this industry, trust is everything. Homeowners trust us with one of their biggest investments, and insurance companies trust that the information being provided is accurate and honest. At Recon Construction Group, we believe in doing business the right way even when nobody is watching.
That means being honest about damages, honest about repairs, and honest about what a homeowner truly needs. Sometimes that means telling someone their roof can be repaired instead of replaced. Sometimes it means explaining that the damage isn’t storm related. Integrity matters, even when it doesn’t benefit you financially in the moment.
Ironically, that honor system is one of the biggest reasons we continue to grow through referrals. Homeowners remember honesty. Adjusters remember professionalism. People remember when they were treated fairly and not pressured.
Doing the right thing may not always be the fastest way to grow, but it builds something much stronger over time. Trust, reputation, and long-term relationships.
That’s the standard we’ll continue to stand on at Recon Construction Group.

Continuing education is extremely important in any field, especially in roofing and construction where materials, installation methods, and industry standards are constantly evolving. The more knowledge you gain, the better you’re able to serve and protect the people trusting you with their homes.
I’m grateful to have officially passed my 5-year Haag certification renewal. For me, this isn’t just about a certification—it’s about continuing to grow my understanding of roofing systems, storm damage, installation methods, and material performance so I can better help homeowners make informed decisions.
There’s always more to learn, and I believe staying educated is part of doing right by people. The goal is never just to ‘sell a roof.’ It’s to truly understand the system, identify issues properly, and help homeowners protect one of their biggest investments.
Knowledge matters. Details matter. Doing things the right way matters.

With another chance of hail and damaging winds moving into Fort Worth, now is the time to be prepared. Storm damage can happen fast, and once a roof is compromised, water intrusion can quickly lead to bigger problems inside the home.
If your roof is damaged during the storm, acting quickly can help prevent further interior damage. Recon Construction Group provides emergency tarping services to help secure exposed areas and protect your home until permanent repairs can be made.
Stay safe during the storms, and if you need help afterward, reach out anytime.
