Beautiful Piano Tuning

Little bit of chipped key repairs and an updated website this week. 😍

Today was a polyester finish repair sort of day. Some before and after shots of some dents and dings on a client’s grand piano.

Christmas trees and pianos just belong together! 🎄

Hammers shaped and voiced, action cleaned and lubricated, and a much needed regulation for this gorgeous instrument today. 🎶

Player pianos are just so cool!

The beginning of a wonderful transformation. ✨

Before and after photos:

Always a privilege to take care of a piece of family history. This gorgeous instrument had the original bill of sale from 1897!

Got to do something a little different last week. My client’s bench was coming apart at the seams- so much so that the back legs were almost completely off. I was able to take it back to my shop, clean out the failed joints, and reassemble. I also added corner braces to make sure this didn’t happen again (apparently this wasn’t the first time), and a lid prop to protect both little hands and the hinges. I just wish I had remembered to get some ‘before’ pictures!
