Root & Harvest Homestead

First cool morning of fall yesterday and it's got us feeling like hoodies and Uggs and baking season! I'll be honest, I'm a fool for anything pumpkin this time of year, so if you're baking pumpkin bread, muffins, or pie, we've got fresh eggs 🥚, pure vanilla extract🌿, vanilla bean paste, and alcohol-free vanilla flavoring ready to go.

Speaking of pumpkin, gluten-free pumpkin mini muffins are in the works. 🎃 Probably a couple weeks out, but I'll let you know.

We also have corn stalk bundles for fall decor.

And echinacea seeds are ready too! Plant those now so they can go through winter cold stratification, that's what gets them to sprout well come spring.

If you’re planning for spring, we also have sunflower 🌻 seeds available.

Just send me a message if you need anything. Pickups or meetups Friday and Saturday 🌿

Back from vacation and all stocked up! Got plenty of fresh eggs and all the vanilla products ready.

Also working on some salsa and pickles for next week if things come together. I’ll let you know.

Just message me if you need anything. Pickups Friday and Saturday 🌿

Stocked and ready. Got fresh eggs, vanilla extract, paste, and alcohol-free flavoring.

Also have frozen gluten-free lemon 🍋 crinkle cookies ready to thaw, sweet potato slips (if you’re still planning to plant), and just a couple tomatillo pairs left.

Just send me a message if you need anything. Pickups Friday and Saturday 🌿

Tuesday’s here. Got 4 dozen eggs, vanilla extract, paste, and alcohol-free flavoring stocked and ready.

Also have sweet potato slips and 3 pairs of flowering tomatillo sets (remember, you need 2 plants for fruit).

Hey, I’m Kat. 👋🏻 Figured it was time to actually introduce ourselves.
Root & Harvest Homestead is a small, veteran-family and woman-owned operation in Springfield, Tennessee. My husband Jewel and I started with a hobby farm and it grew into something bigger when we realized we were producing more than we could use ourselves.
So we’re sharing what we have. Right now that’s farm fresh eggs 🥚, pure vanilla extract🌿, vanilla bean paste, alcohol-free vanilla flavoring, and gluten-free lemon crinkle cookies🍋. Goat milk 🐐 lotion is in the works.
Our stewardship is hands-off. We let the animals be animals and step in when they need us. Everything is small batch and made in our home kitchen. I post what’s available on Mondays and do pickups on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you’ve been following along, thank you. If you’re new here, glad to have you. Either way, just send me a message when you want something and I’ll set it aside.
