Did you know childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14?

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Last December Michael's son, Graham, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Graham was fortunate enough to be treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and is now a healthy and cancer-free seven year old who just started first grade.

The Sutton's experienced the incredible things that happen at St. Jude; their family was given a fully furnished apartment, weekly money for food, gas money for travel to and from Springfield, and even Christmas gifts for both of their sons. Therefore, Roark & Sutton is looking for ways to give back, get involved, and help raise awareness for childhood cancer.

On September 19th, there will be a virtual run/walk 5K for St. Jude. 2019 was the worst year out of the last 10 years for auto insurer loss experience. Even with aggressive pricing increases across the industry for the last several years, insurers are still unable to get their head above water from a loss ratio perspective (claims paid / premium dollars).

My questions to you are:
-What are you doing to make your business more desirable to underwriters?
-What is your agent doing to sell you to the underwriters?
-Does your agent have more than one or two carriers who have specific programs for your operations?
-Are you receiving the data underwriters are looking at to help you focus on the areas which will help your pricing the most?
-Are you exploring alternative policy structures to reduce your rates?

If you cannot clearly answer those questions, are you still going to be upset when you get an above average pricing increase for your next policy year?
