While I have worked in several art media, my passion is fabric, specifically in quilted form.
Quilting lends stability to my fabric collages and recalls the traditional media open to women throughout history.

What is the Best Hands of Missouri Organization? I am a juried member, just back from a weekend of love and fun. No art-making? Well, it was all about connecting, sharing, and expanding horizons. I was surprised to learn that many artists want to communicate values like kindness, caring about others and animals, and curiosity, like me! In my art, I want to draw in the viewer to look deeper--how was it made? What drew me in to begin with? I feel passionate about old and worn things, the beauty and love of what has gone before, the souls who made and used items I now incorporate into my art. Come see some of my art quilts at Gailey Breakfast Cafe on Walnut Street downtown Springfield, Missour--on display through June.
