Poolee Yuri Martinez is a 2022 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School & will be leaving for Recruit Training this month to achieve her goal of become a United States Marine. Congratulations again to the both of them & we are excited to help you along the process into your new careers!

Throughout the recruit training evolution, recruits will spend countless hours practicing weapon's handling and marksmanship fundamentals aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C.

In keeping with the mantra coined by the 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Alfred Gray, Marines are first and foremost a rifleman, ensuring that they are always ready to answers the nation's call at a moment's notice.
