Tonight’s Covenant Freedom School Finale was everything! Good job! Good job! In addition to the amazing presentation of the children, the Covenant Freedom School surprised Clara Copeland and family with the announcement that the Freedom School Social Action Day is now named Warren R. Copeland National Day of Social Action in honor of the late Springfield Mayor Copeland. Kudos to Executive Director Seraye Bray and her team, the volunteers, Principal Howard of Fulton Elementary School (this year’s school site), and the Covenant United Methodist Church family!
Thank you Daijah & Asia for coming and teaching our Scholars about the importance of not only preparing for the future but believing in the future.

Sign your scholar up to join our Covenant Freedom School Family! This is a 6 week summer program, Monday - Friday. Scholars grades 1st - 8th will strengthen their literacy skills, (mainly focusing on reading), learn about culture, and S.T.E.A.M. Please remember that we only have 40 SPOTS available for scholars, so you MUST attend the orientation to secure you scholars spot.
