As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s remember all the healthcare workers who will spend the holiday caring for our communities. They give up time with their loved ones to ensure that people in our hospitals, clinics and emergency departments get the care they need, and they brighten the day for patients missing their family and friends at Thanksgiving.

Orthopedic surgery residents and medical students took pumpkin carving to a new level at the MLC. The group was learning to use surgical drills, and pumpkins made the perfect practice. Thanks to Dr. Govindaiah for capturing the moment. Happy Halloween from the MLC!
