Today is not just the last day of school. Today marks the ending of an era.

Pershing School first opened its doors in the Fall of 1957, and today our elementary students walk these halls for the very last time. After today, Pershing will become a middle school only.

Thank you for the decades of memories, friendships, laughter, traditions, and unwavering support that made this school so special to so many families. Pershing will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️

🎉 Today is the Pershing Elementary School’s Out Party! 🎉

We can’t wait for a day full of fun, bubbles, pizza, ice cream, and a special fire truck visit! 🚒🍕🫧🍦

Reminder for families:
Please send your child with a towel and a change of clothes since they may get wet during the activities. Sunscreen is also highly encouraged! ☀️

🚌 Be at school ON TIME — buses leave at 9:30 AM!

Tomorrow is the big day! Pershing students will head to Glendale HS Football Stadium for a fun-filled Field Day with Wilder Elementary! ☀️🎉

A few reminders for families tonight:
✔️ Apply sunscreen before school
✔️ Pack a towel & water bottle
✔️ Send a sack lunch or request school lunch
✔️ Wear close-toed shoes & comfortable clothes
✔️ Extra clothes are recommended since students may get wet!

🚌 Buses leave at 9:30 AM - DON'T BE LATE!
🚌 Students return around 1:30 PM
🍦 Andy’s Frozen Custard will be served when students return!
