Introducing Mackenzie S., a Rochester High School senior headed to Kansas State University to pursue architecture and make a lasting impact on communities. We’re incredibly proud of her ambition and thankful for the passion she brings to the program.

Meet Justin W., a driven senior from Sacred Heart Griffin High School who is already taking steps toward a career in HVAC and plumbing through hands-on apprenticeship opportunities. We’re proud of Justin’s work ethic and grateful to have him representing the next generation of skilled entrepreneurs.

Meet Keeley A. from New Berlin High School, an inspiring member of Sangamon CEO who plans to attend Missouri State University to study Criminology and Social Work. We’re proud of Keeley’s vision to uplift underprivileged communities and grateful for the energy and purpose she brings to our class.

Meet Rowan F., a Springfield High School senior headed to the University of Oregon for Sports Business and Marketing, who has made the most of Sangamon CEO through site visits, guest speakers, and connecting with founders. We’re proud of her growth and grateful for the energy she brings—creating value for both her future and the businesses that share their stories with our students!

Recently, students had the exciting opportunity to showcase the results of all their hard work at the New Venture Challenge! After dedicating an entire semester to building and refining their businesses, this event marked a big moment for them to step up, share their ideas, and confidently pitch what they’ve created. Thank you to everyone who came out to support—your encouragement and presence made the day even more meaningful for our students!

Through the Sangamon CEO program, Rowan has been busy networking with Springfield’s top business leaders and is already launching a trash bin cleaning venture with his partner, Emery. We are so proud of his entrepreneurial spirit and his ambitious vision for the future of our community!

Introducing Aaryaa P., a Springfield High School senior bound for Purdue University to study Data Science and Finance! Aaryaa is developing "StudyPods," an innovative EdTech app that connects students with the perfect study partners and locations. We celebrate Aaryaa’s drive and are grateful to have such a community-minded leader in our program!
