Graham Chapman (1941 –1989) was a member of the legendary British comedy troupe Monty Python known for their absurdism and satire. Notable movie roles include "King Arthur" in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "Brian" in "Life of Brian". In 1972, he publicly disclosed on TV he was a homosexual, one of the first celebrities to do so; and he continued to be a very vocal advocate for gay rights
