Oh, and the legendary 17th "Island Green"? 137 yards, surrounded by water, no margin for error. It felt right at home for our SRM Vice President of Operations, Blair Lillis, who was incredibly close to making a hole-in-one! At ServiceMaster DSI, high stakes precision tends to be our thing.

Five years in, and our annual ServiceMaster DSI Golf Tournament keeps getting better thanks to the incredible people around us. This year, we were proud to support Answering the Call, a Kansas City nonprofit dedicated to helping first responders and their families in times of need following a severe injury or illness. From the energy on the course to the conversations throughout the day, this event is a true reflection of the community and relationships we've built together. Thank you to every client, partner, sponsor, and team member who showed up and gave back. We’re grateful to every one of you.

According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the majority of homes lost to wildfire are first ignited by embers and small flames, not the fire itself.

The key is understanding and managing your Home Ignition Zone (HIZ), the area around your property that extends up to 200 feet from the foundation. The NFPA divides the Home Ignition Zone into three sections: the Immediate Zone, the Intermediate Zone, and the Extended Zone. Each plays a critical role in wildfire prevention.
