The church was founded with community outreach and support in mind. Third Presbyterian Church has been a pillar of the Springfield community for over 165 years.
What the founders of our church wanted we are still doing. For over one hundred years, we have preached the gospel of the grace of God from this pulpit, and our members have been able to give a reason for their faith and their hope.
Because of trouble with this site, we are not able to add our ministries like we want, there has been a new site set up. It's called Third Presbyterian Church of Springfield IL. No items will be removed from this site until all have been transferred to the new site. Thank you.

YOU’RE INVITED!! Third Presbyterian Church would like to invite you to our Fall Open House on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, from 10:00am - 11:30am. Please meet us in our Fellowship Hall for a light snack and beverage. A short tour of God’s House and the NCCL library will be available following snacks.
October 1st is World Communion Sunday, and we invite you to join us for our worship service at 9am. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
