Here is our final self-care bingo to commemorate May as Mental Health Awareness Month! Recreational self-care is perfect for summertime. Our source says that, "It’s important to make time for hobbies and activities that interest you." We agree! "Doing so will result in practicing recreational self-care. Some activities include taking time for hobbies, going on an adventure, taking time to relax and do nothing, playing board games or video games, and switching up your daily routine" (Burkett, 2021). We hope that you'll find some adventure this summer! Remember to practice self-care and be safe out there!

Here's our penultimate self-care topic! Our source says that, "Activities or practice that give you a sense of meaning provide you with spiritual self-care. Some of these activities or practices could be spending time in nature, finding a community, identifying the values that are most important to you and volunteering" (Burkett, 2021). We've highlighted some items on the board for you to try, we hope we can help you build that community you're looking for!

Check back next week for our last topic: Recreational self-care! Be sure to submit a photo of your card with your bingo to be entered for a small self-care prize :) Be safe out there!

This week's topic is SOCIAL self-care! Sometimes a difficult one, but our source says, "Building relationships and making connections with healthy boundaries is the best way to practice social self-care. Some examples of social self-care are connecting with friends, calling your relatives, writing a letter to a friend, talking to a support group, and chatting with an online community" (Burkett, 2021). Sound familiar?? We do a TON of social self-care just by engaging in school and we couldn't be more proud of you!! See our board this week for some highlighted items to try!

Next week: Spiritual self-care suggestions! Until then, be safe out there
