I can't hide this gem of a gal any longer! 💎

This is Addie, and she's actually been at the bakery for two months tomorrow! (Happy 2 months Addie 💞)

If you're one of our lovely wholesale partners then you know her bright, bubbly face already! She is my Wholesale Delivery Driver and each friday she bring the goodies you know and love to our partners (more areas soon 👀)

When she's not jamming out in her car on deliveries (she LOVES driving), she is usually in pre or post-production game mode. Literally. Streaming game-play while she preps the kitchen or packaging fulfillment is her M.O. 🎮

I couldn't do what I do in the bakery without her! Some people may find the repetitive tasks she does boring, but she doesnt! "Calm" "relaxing" and "chill" is how she describes her work day and I LOVE being able to offer her that environment.

Some of the important tasks she helps the bakery with: dishwashing (IYKYK), deliveries, product slicing and packaging, labeling, ingredients prep, weighing and shaping cookies, and so much more.

I'm thrilled to announce we're expanding the team! We're currently looking for an experienced Bakery Assistant for back-of-house. We are looking to fill this position immediately.

Bakery Assistant 👩‍🍳
We're looking for someone who thrives on consistency, pays attention to detail, is incredibly reliable, communicative, and curious to expand their skills!

You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the team, and be the main supporting role to the Head Chef/Head Baker.

We desire the person who fills this position to eventually transition into a Lead Baker/Production Manager role after the storefront opens in early 2027.

📅 Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8am - 2pm
💰 Pay: $13.50/hr+ Based On Experience
📍 Springfield, TN 37172

Responsibilities:
• Measure, mix and prep ingredients
• Manage dough: shaping, proofing, fermentation, temp and time
• Baking & Oven Operations
• Daily cleaning and occasional deep cleans
• Stock and replenish supplies
• Assist with daily bread production
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace
• Follow recipes and production lists
• Other daily tasks focusing mostly on bread production with the opportunity to expand to pastry as the storefront opens

Requirements:
• Previous restaurant/kitchen/baking experience preferred, but not required. If you've been baking at home (yeasted or sourdough) for quite a while (a few years at least), it's about the skill, not the accolade.
• Reliable transportation and childcare
• Knowledge of baker's math
• Physical Stamina: ability to stand the entire shift and ability to lift 50 # over and over.
• A true team-player in character, solutions-oriented, and willingness to speak up fast if you need help.
