Springhouse Village is pet-friendly, and we love to have dogs come and visit! Lexie, a sweet poodle, came and loved on some of our memory care residents. Her visit came at a great time, as we celebrated National Dog Day this past week!

Whether going with Judy and Britton, assisted-living residents, to the Rib Crib, or with our Independent Living residents to The Table, we're all about trying new food places and getting out in the community! Springfield has a lot of great shops as well, and pictured at Schaffitzel's Flowers is Pat, one of our Independent Living residents. Many times, Keith, our trusted transportation director, is along for the drive!

Whether enjoying making their own ice cream or playing bingo, the residents in Memory Care have a great opportunity for fellowship and fun! Thanks to Sara at Haven Home Health for her assistance with the ice cream, pictured with Jessica, our Memory Care Activities Assistant.

Throwback to our fantastic Color Me Beautiful session with Jennifer! 🎨✨ Originally popular in the 1980s, this color analysis trend made a fun comeback in 2023 thanks to TikTok and Instagram. We enjoyed discovering our best colors and having a great time together at Springhouse Village. Thanks, Jennifer, for hosting such a vibrant and memorable event! Today, on National Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating the wisdom, stories, laughter, and life experiences of the incredible seniors who call our community home.

Every life story is filled with moments worth remembering, accomplishments worth celebrating, and memories that have shaped the people and communities around us. We’re honored to celebrate each resident and all that makes them uniquely who they are.

What better way to display summer pictures, than in a handmade seashell frame? Our residents worked with Cindy, our Celebrations Dolirector ro create a beautiful seashell frame, all turned out great!

Our Clubhouse dinners celebrate fellowship, and once a month we celebrate the Independent Living birthdays. Celebrating in August is Howard, Marilyn, and Bill! Happy birthday, and many more!!
