The SSO is the largest professional orchestra in Massachusetts outside of Boston.
Each season, we produce classical and pops performances, plus educational, cultural & outreach programs that benefit the communities in which we serve. For the first time since the 1990s, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra will once again take the stage for Star Spangled Springfield!
Join us at Riverfront Park on Saturday, July 4 at 7 PM as we bring a patriotic soundtrack back to one of our city's most beloved traditions.

Just announced 📣 . . . the Springfield Symphony Orchestra 🎶 will perform Saturday, July 4th for 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱's celebration of America's 250th birthday and to celebrate MassMutual 's 175th anniversary. The free concert will be held at 7pm in Riverfront Park. Fireworks by Grucci 🎆 will perform at 9:30pm. 🇺🇸
