The SSO is the largest professional orchestra in Massachusetts outside of Boston.
Each season, we produce classical and pops performances, plus educational, cultural & outreach programs that benefit the communities in which we serve. The Springfield Symphony Orchestra performed its first concert in 1944, at its current home - Springfield Symphony Hall, which was originally built as the Municipal Auditorium. Join us on Friday, June 19 in Tower Square Center Court as we come together to celebrate Juneteenth through music, culture, and community. This FREE event will feature incredible performances, powerful moments of reflection, and a celebration of freedom and unity for all.

Four our fourth year, we've had to do things a little differently, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to keeping this celebration accessible, welcoming, and available to everyone in our beloved Springfield community.

Just announced ๐ฃ . . . the Springfield Symphony Orchestra ๐ถ will perform Saturday, July 4th for ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ's celebration of America's 250th birthday and to celebrate MassMutual 's 175th anniversary. The free concert will be held at 7pm in Riverfront Park. Fireworks by Grucci ๐ will perform at 9:30pm. ๐บ๐ธ
