Fresh out of college in May 2016, I was lucky enough to start working right away as a freelance photographer for my alma mater AIC and The Republican newspaper. At the time, I expected I’d be job searching for a good while but I guess I’m really blessed to have Candy Lash and Rob Rizzuto taking a chance on me early.

Ten years, hundreds of thousands of miles, countless photographs and memories later, it’s been a journey.

I’ve learned a lot through experience and from my mentors Don Treeger, Chris Marion, Dave Roback, Fred Gore and Mark Murray; made my fair share of mistakes, and grown not only as a photographer and photojournalist, but as a person.

I know I’m not perfect, but I genuinely want to thank everyone who has trusted me with your meaningful moments over the years. Your support has meant a lot, and I don’t take it for granted.

Here’s to 10 years, and whatever comes next ❤️
