Today we were treated to an appearance in the shop by authors Paul Tremblay and Becky Siegel Spratford thanks to our friends at the Springfield-Greene Libraries.
Join them this evening at 7 PM in the Hatch Auditorium for the kickoff to the “Oh, the Horror” series.
Signed copies of Paul and Becky’s books are for sale in our store now! And join us on October 22 for a book club discussion of Paul’s novel “Horror Movie”.
We have a big weekend at Bookmarx! Saturday we are participating in the Bookstore Crawl from 11 to 6! We’ll have 10% off storewide for bookcrawlers and Cody Walker will be in store selling and signing copies of his books.

Emma Cline’s new novel Switzy is out today as well as David L. Harrison’s new book “Pumpkin on a Vine”. Ms Cyrano approved!
This Thursday, the Springfield-Greene Libraries is kicking off their “Oh, The Horror Series” with Paul Tremblay in conversation with Becky Stratford at 7 pm in Hatch Auditorium.
We will be discussing Tremblay’s novel “Horror Movie” for our October book club here at Bookmarx.
Be sure to keep track of all the events all month long including “Horror for Weenies” here in the Footnote in Bookmarx on Wed Oct 21!

First Friday is in full swing! We've got wine, bubbly, snacks, art, and more so come hang out with us until 9:00!

We’ll be open late tonight (Friday 9/4) until 9pm, featuring the art of Charlie Gessner, which will be on display in the shop and available for purchase all month long.
We’re also hosting the launch party for FAR AFIELD starting at 6PM. You’ll be able to preorder copies of the new issues, speak to the editors and contributors, and enjoy some snacks.
Ms. Cyrano will be up past her bedtime so stop by and say hello!
