To enhance the quality of life and to promote economic vitality through the artistic transformation of Springfield through outdoor sculpture is our mission. Public art has proven itself to play a major role in rejuvenating public spaces and local economies in places as diverse as Chicago, Illinois and Asheville, North Carolina. Sculpture Walk Springfield is an initiative aimed at creating such a museum, by displaying quality sculptures in downtown Springfield on an annually rotating schedule. The Phelps County Bank Phelps County Bank needs an artist to make a new sculpture that will live in front of their new building! We have received a grant for this project, and RIGHT NOW we have open submissions on our website!!
