Project Ascent had the pleasure of taking kids from the Finley River School in Ozark, MO to Zenith Climbing Center last Thursday. We were incredibly impressed by the willingness of everyone to venture out of their comfort zones, to encourage each other, and push past any doubts about climbing.
Thank you Ryan McClain for being such an amazing teacher who's willing to teach outside the box.
Thank you to Zenith Climbing Center for everything you do!
Thank you Sam Palmer for volunteering your time to help us.

There are many times when we all need a little help getting off the ground, especially when it comes to doing something that we might perceive as scary. Most of us have people in our lives that help encourage us to face that fear, but most is not all.
Imagine being scared of applying for a new job, making a new friend, trying a new activity, or any of the many things we do on a day to day basis. When you don't have a support system in place these seemingly simple changes can be overwhelming.
That is one of the many things we do while taking kids climbing. Help them get off the ground. Kids need encouragement to try new things and we give them that. They learn that they CAN start and they CAN fail and they CAN try again and they CAN succeed.
