July is a hard month, but this year I’m choosing to honor two souls lost. Opal and I were both grieving our soul pets, hers a horse and mine a dog. Both were declining and we knew our time with them was limited. Kenzi 🐶 passed a couple weeks before Tizzy did, which if you asked Opal this was my only way to try and offer support because I barely had it in me to breathe. What a great honor it was to photograph her with her girl 🐴. I swear Kenzi told me to do this, and for that I am grateful. Tizz might not have felt her best, but the second I showed up she put on a show. I loved getting to meet her 🥹
