Learning to tattoo in prison, he proceeded to get licensed. Eventually he became an apprentice at Electric Vood Eventually he became an apprentice at Electric Voodoo under Ron Hennings; Owner of Electric Voodoo. He ended up leaving to start his own tattoo studio, Black Art Tattoo & Gallery with tattoo apprentice, Marcell Kessler. Marcell has been piercing for six years with prior piercing apprenticeship. He pierces by appointment only until Black Art's new location officially opens. Black Art Tatoo & Gallery will officially open early 2018 in Springfield, Mo. More artist will be announced closer to opening.
