Springfield Writers' Guild

Inspiring writers of all genres. Meets the fourth Saturday of each month. Mentor hour 10:00 am. Speaker at 11:00 am business meeting at 12:00.

Visitors attend free. Springfield Writers' Guild was founded in 1943 to:
- Encourage local writers in their craft.
- Provide mutual support among members.
- Encourage aspiring writers to become published writers.
- Recruit members into the Missouri Writers' Guild.
- Encourage writers in the marketing of their literary material for payment. The Guild accomplishes these goals by emphasizing mentoring, genre interest, motivation, publishing, and writing skills.
