I’ve known Emily for nearly 20 years now, which is scary to say out loud but also the coolest fun fact ever. We’ve spent childhood birthday parties together, goofed around in college, and now I’m taking her engagement photos???? UGH!

I was nervous to take on such a big responsibility like capturing Emily & Jake’s love for one another, but I am so so happy that I had the opportunity to do so. Emily, I’m honored to have known you for all the stages of life we’ve experienced together and I’m so excited to witness this next new adventure for you. 💜

Although it was long overdue (sorry Whitney lol) I’m glad it worked out the way that it did. I’ve been part of the chamber for almost 2 years now, making it one of the very first networking groups I joined once I went freelance. I knew a few people from my time at Nixa Schools, but it was the first time I was learning how to represent myself AND my business.

Fast forward to Wednesday and I got to have friends, family, clients, and the community of people I’ve met through networking all in one room celebrating something that I’VE created! Absolute insanity!!!

And for those who didn’t make it, I still had a pool of text messages full of well wishes and congrats, so the gratitude and thanks continued way behind the ribbing cutting :’)

It’s days like Wednesday then remind me I have a great community of people always cheering me on 💜

It’s been so fun connecting with the 417 community through new client adventures and media shoots! I love exercising my creative muscles as I find new ways to show off what everyone does best, all while using the same handy-dandy camera 💜

I had the privilege of taking photos at this weekend's St. Patrick's Day parade! 🍀 Event coverage and photography is one of my FAVORITE things I get to do. I get to interact and feed off the energy of everyone around me and take pictures of fun moments, like the little diva with the umbrella I spotted on the sidewalk. 💅 I might have missed that if I casually attended 🤷🏻‍♀️

Back in August of 2025, Carrie asked if I could take a few basic headshots for her travel agency, Vacations By CB 🌴

We only had 30 minutes of studio time so we had to creative with the backdrops and props. Of course, Carrie turned on her classic charm and sass that resulted with some really fun shots for her and her business! 😌
