All right this might be the last night for the show at the eagles. I hope not but will keep everyone informed on what's happening. So if you can come down and see your Ohana Karaoke.
Hope everyone has a great valentine day. It's still early so come on down to the show❣
Alright friends. I have nominated the eagles for a few awards but to make it to the next round they need a lot more nominations. Go to registerguard.com find the Reader's Choice, the food and dining under burger you will find Springfield McKenzie Eagles. Also under community find the non profit. Please nominate in both categories. Nominates are till Feb.7th please vote and pass the word around. Thanks. Hopefully we will make it to the next round and bring some foot traffic back to the lodge. If we don't pick up some more foot traffic am not sure how much longer the doors will be open
Update: just went to the nominate page and it looks like you still have to write the eagles in.
Fun fact #8 In Charleston, 1762 was the founding place of the first music society: the Saint Cecilia Society
Fun fact #7 The early settlements in America had little music. As the pilgrims thought music and dance where inventions of the devil. Thank god for other settlers that brought their love of music over.
Well Karaoke is done for the night. Hope to see everyone next week. If you guys want any special nights let me know. I will see what I can do.
Fun fact #6 "America" was first sung by kids at the 4th of July celebration in Boston, 1831. The tune for America came from the song " God Save The Queen"
