Downtown Springfield Association's annual wiffle ball tournament ended this past week with our champions! 🧢

DSA members and organizations have the opportunity to play in a wiffle ball tournament on Wednesdays over the summer. You may have seen a game or two throughout downtown! Mother's Brewing Company and Park Central Square hosted last week's championship rounds.

CSI won the Queen City Division (Competitive) and efactory won the Sandlot Division (Recreational) 💪

🚨 ROAD CLOSURES IN DOWNTOWN SPRINGFIELD 🚨

Starting today, Thursday, August 6, numerous roads will be closed to vehicle traffic. This affects all roads leading to Park Central Square, Saint Louis Street, and Jefferson Ave.

Late Thursday into early Friday, parts of Walnut Street, South Street, and Kimbrough Ave will also close to vehicle traffic. Parking is prohibited in some areas; street signage indicates where parking is permitted.

Businesses are STILL open on these closed streets! Please support those businesses through the Route 66 festival.

Heatherly's is a new boutique on Park Central Square, next to Civil Kitchen. 💖 Heatherly's has bright florals, romantic dresses, semi-formal and formal dresses, all with a western twist. You can find the perfect denim vest next to a pair of bedazzled GoGo boots. 👢

Their back room is currently being transformed into a men's department, set to open during the Route 66 Festival on August 8th!

They opened their doors just a couple of weeks ago, so give them a warm welcome to the area! 🍾

In case you haven't stepped outside the last few days, it's really, really... really hot.

We are reminiscing about the cooler days of fall, including seeing the fall colors of Downtown Springfield 😍
