I recently had the honor of speaking at a leadership training built around a powerful theme: "Built for the Climb."

That phrase isn’t just a slogan to me—it’s personal.

Because I know the climb. I’m living it.

I’ve wrestled with my own doubts. Faced real setbacks. And I’ve questioned if I was good enough, ready enough, worthy enough to lead, build, and succeed.

But something deep inside keeps whispering:

Along the way, I’ve discovered what I call positive discomfort—that space where comfort ends and growth begins. It’s the hard part of the journey most people try to avoid. But I believe discomfort is the tuition we pay for transformation.

And I’ve come to embrace that.

Because my purpose is clear: I want to see others win.

Not just financially—but in legacy, in belief, in breaking generational ceilings. I’m not in this for applause. I’m here to help people shift their lives in meaningful, lasting ways.

Some of us are just built different. We refuse to settle. We want more—not from greed, but from gratitude and responsibility.

For me, this is deeply personal. I want to be that one person in my family who made such an impact that it changed our entire trajectory. I want my kids—and their kids—to believe it's possible. And I want that for others, too.

Leadership isn’t just about getting to the top. It’s about reaching back and pulling others up with you.
