Hello all, hope everyone has had some wonderful holidays so far!

My family and I are taking a much needed vacation from the 30th to the 26th of January. Unfortunately we will be closed for the time being, but will be open again on the 27th of January! We hope everyone has an awesome New Years Eve and has a wonderful year ahead of them! #2025

Today was a very great day! We celebrated 100 years of Maid Rite and a very special thanks to the Route 66 association Visit Springfield who made this happen! We, the Maid Rite family, appreciate everyone's support and patience today! I am truly sorry for the folks who waited hours and we ran out of meat in the end, I don't think we expected such a turnout!

Someone told me " I am surprised you are smiling, even after seeing the crowd and hecticness behind it." The thought that came to mind is how wonderful everyone was to come out and celebrate a Springfield tradition. How could we not smile! 😁

With that, I want to say thank you to everyone and sorry to the ones we missed! Thank you all who brought out their cool cars and thank you again to Route 66 association! And of course we can't forget the volunteers of today, thank you!

Hope everyone is doing well! We are super excited about our 100 year anniversary party and look forward to seeing everyone! Only two more weeks till the event and I hope we can all cool off with some frosty mug root beers!!! Our special for the day will be buy one sandwich or root beer and get one for a nickle, just like the old days! 😁

PS. If you have some cool classic cars or even some cool modern cars, please bring them as well! It is such a great feeling to have cool cars along with the first drive thru!
