Pioneer Valley Bus Riders Union

The Pioneer Valley Bus Riders Union organizes PVTA bus riders to build a unified voice and movement for better public transportation in the Pioneer Valley, starting with the Chicopee, Holyoke and Springfield areas. Together, we will develop goals and strategies to advocate for improved quality of public transit. The policy and decision makers need to know that public bus transit is fundamental for many people to commute to work, school, recreation and shopping. More reliable, clean, affordable and timely public transit will greatly increase the convenience and accessibility of transit especially for those who depend on public transit as well as those who choose to take public transit. Our current focus is to target specific communities in Chicopee, Holyoke and Springfield through local neighborhood meetings and to form a strong coalition of active supporters, advocates, and everyday bus riders!
