This weekend, we were blessed to welcome Pastor Keith Monroe and his family to the First Lutheran Church family. We are excited to begin this new chapter in the life of our congregation and look forward to all that God has in store for our church community.

First Lutheran Church Springfield Ohio First Lutheran Church is an ELCA Lutheran Church located in Springfield Ohio. Traditional worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:30. We are a downtown church and have been at the same location in Springfield for nearly 200 years. Wittenberg University held its original classes in this facility.

Last Sunday, the Service Committee made care packages for those in need. When doing your shopping, please keep in mind picking up sale items that can be shared without being heated or refrigerated and drop off anytime.

We had such a lovely Pentecost Sunday service last week. Even by Tuesday the stained glass Jesus the above the altar still seemed to glow!

Make plans to join us Thursday evening as we meet our new pastoral candidate and again Sunday morning as we vote on his call & elect new members to council. It is an exciting time at First Lutheran Church (Springfield, Ohio).
