Before the competition, before the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, before the awards and celebration, there were young people being challenged to listen, learn, work together — and lock in.
This moment came as, part of The Pathways Foundation’s experience — a two-day gathering built around mentorship, access, education, competition, and community.
was proud to support the experience in more than one way.
Through Chef Up North, we served as a lunch sponsor for the young people and mentors. And through Counted Me Out Productions, we played a significant role in capturing and shaping the visual story of the two-day experience.
What started as an opportunity to support the event grew into something much larger — and we’re grateful to The Pathways Foundation for trusting CMOP with that responsibility.
For us, this first piece had to begin with the foundation:
the kids, the mentors, the discipline, the instruction, the access, and the work.
Over the next several days, we’ll be sharing more of Hall of Hope through the CMOP lens.

Sometimes you have to get quiet enough to hear yourself again. Not because something is wrong.
Not because you’re running away.
But because constantly being available to everything and everybody can make it hard to recognize what YOU need.
I’ve spent a lot of my life showing up. Building. Creating. Carrying. Being present when people needed me.
But this chapter has been teaching me something different:
I need me, too.
I need space where nobody needs an answer.
Time that doesn’t belong to a deadline.
Moments where I can recalibrate, restore my peace, and simply enjoy what I’ve worked hard enough to experience.
That’s what this trip gave me.
Not an escape from my life —
a return to myself.
And I’m learning that protecting that space doesn’t require an apology or an explanation. Sometimes walking away from the noise is how you make sure you can still hear your own voice.
