Afro Renaissance

Afro Cultural Arts & Humanities promote, advances, and preserves the distinctively African American musical art forms – jazz, spoken word, rhythm & blues, and spirituals – in Springfield MA and the surrounding New England region. Our mission is to create a bustling environment reflecting the pulse of the community in a wide variety of creative and artistic forms that broaden our appeal and open doors. Our activities is open to all artists, aspiring artists, learners and hobbyists, “art appreciators,” students, or anyone interested in opening up to creative activity.
