If you’ve been around our crew for any amount of time, you’ll come to know that the Bell Witch has a favorite number, and that number is 13.

We have countless memories around it and the way she’s made it known, and this afternoon, we made another one.

While getting our social media team up and running for the year at their offices, we were telling them the story of 13, and how Kate shows up. As their team pulled up Facebook’s business manager and went to add themselves, you wouldn’t believe the screen that popped up.

No previous warnings.

After 13 minutes, they were in.

The Small Town Startup office is closed today as we pause to remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

At Small Town Startup, we have the opportunity to work alongside incredible leaders and visionaries every day, and one of those people is Dr. Emerald Mitchell, Founder and Executive Director of Moves & Grooves.

Dr. Mitchell’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to helping young people recognize their strengths, build confidence in who they are, and open doors to possibilities they may not have seen for themselves yet. Through Moves & Grooves, she is creating space for the next generation to be encouraged, challenged, and supported as they grow into leaders in their own right.
