I was February 2011 that we opened. It seems like million years ago an just yesterday at the same time. Life has changed exponentially since then. Much love to all my tanning friends.

Sole tanning will be closing permanently on Saturday, Sept 27th 2014. All valid tans, spray tans,annual and monthly packages will be transferred to Palm Beach Tan at 4560 S. Campbell Ave. All 5 and 10 tan packages and spray tans are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. It has been a pleasure to serve you. Thank you.

The Weatherman says it's going to be 97 degrees today. If it's too hot for you to tan outside, join us in our beautiful air conditioned salon to get your rays! Don't forget your free bottle of cold water so you can stay hydrated on these blistering summer days!

We hope everybody had a happy and safe Independence Day! Before you know it July will be over and it will be time to start thinking about going back to school. But it's not too late to get a gorgeous tan before that happens!

Or just relax and de-stress in our peaceful spa-like atmosphere. 10 - 20 minutes of "me time" can make all the difference in your outlook on life! Try it and see for yourself.

Just a quick heads up to let everybody know that we'll be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Please take a moment to reflect on what a wonderful country we live in and how many brave souls have died to give us, and preserve our freedom. Never take that freedom for granted! Have a happy and safe holiday. We'll be open on Saturday July 5th, for your tanning pleasure!

Just to let everybody know that our air conditioning is fixed and it's nice and cool in here. Come and get your tan on for the weekend! :)

The compressor has gone out on our air conditioning and is currently being replaced/repaired. We cannot let anyone tan until it is fixed due to the high temps. We hope to have it going by opening tomorrow - 10 am. We apologize for any inconvenience. When air conditioners decide to crap out on you, there isn't much you can do about it. Well, the weather has been lovely the past two days. Remember though, if you don't have a base tan to go easy on the sunshine. Getting a sunburn is very bad for your skin! If you must be in the sun for extended periods of time (and you don't have a beautiful glowing tan, already), please use a good sunscreen. Here is a list of good sunscreens that do NOT have ingredients that can do more harm than good! We just want to let everybody know that our hours are changing. It's getting to be the slower time of year, so we have dialed back our hours to reflect that. Starting on Monday, June 9th, we'll be open from 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 9 pm on Saturday (we're still closed on Sunday). We hope that this doesn't cause any problems for any of our tanners and we really appreciate your understanding. Give us a call at 417 849 6764 if you have any questions about our new hours.

As many of you know, there are certain fitness places that also provide tanning for no additional fee. If you are going to these places (or know someone who is), please, PLEASE be very careful when tanning there. We have been told by several people who have come in recently, that people are BURNING BADLY in these beds because they are NOT setting the beds for the proper amount of time.

At Sole Bella Tans, part of the service that we provide to you is our KNOWLEDGE of skin types and the correct and proper amount of exposure time to MINIMIZE damage to your skin. The worst thing you can possibly do to your skin is burn.

Government studies have proven that OVERWHELMINGLY that individuals who are at the highest risk for melanoma and other skin cancers have experienced repeated sunburn damage. Burning your skin can cause damage to DNA which can result in permanent changes to your skin. This is very, very dangerous.

At Sole Bella Tans we are constantly striving to learn more about safety in tanning and will always recommend a safe exposure time for your skin type. Burning is NOT an option here.

Please, if you do take advantage of the fitness tanning, remember that the bulbs and the beds are NEW and at their strongest now. Reduce your time to only 5 or 6 minutes to start so that you do not burn!

Remember also that wearing eyewear is important. Keeping your eyes closed is NOT enough to prevent permanent eye damage. We sell eyewear for $1.50, please come down and purchase a pair of peepers rather than risk your vision!
