Here's your excuse to eat more cheese today!!
Cheese is a great snack for a healthy smile😁
🧀Calcium & Phosphate build strong teeth and fortify enamel.
🧀The Casein Protein in cheese coats teeth with a protective film that fends off cavity-causing acids.
🧀Hard Cheeses (such as cheddar, Swiss, or Monterey Jack) increase saliva flow, which naturally washes away food and bacteria.
So reach for a piece of cheese after your meal instead of a sweet treat.... your teeth will thank you!

Happy June!☀️ As we kick off National Oral Health Month and continue with National Smile Month, we’re focused on one simple thing: keeping those smiles bright and healthy!😁
With summer break starting, it’s easy for sugar to sneak into our diets through sodas, sports drinks, and treats. Cutting back on the sweet stuff isn't just good for your waistline; it’s the best way to prevent cavities and protect your enamel. 🦷✨
Try swapping one sugary snack a day for fresh fruit or crunchy veggies. Your smile will thank you!🍓🥦 See you at your next visit to Springfield Family Dental!

While high-tech dental tools are great, nothing beats the classic combination of brushing and flossing when it comes to maintaining a healthy, confident smile. Think of them as the ultimate team for your oral health:
🪥Brushing is the "Front Line": It handles the large surfaces, removing plaque and bacteria from the front, back, and chewing surfaces of your teeth. Remember: two minutes, twice a day!
🧵Flossing is the "Secret Weapon": Brushing alone misses about 40% of your tooth surfaces. Flossing gets into those tight spaces between teeth and under the gumline where your brush simply can't reach. Skipping the floss is like washing only the outside of a glass but never the rim. Eventually, the hidden spots cause trouble!
Quick Tip: If you find traditional floss tricky, try a water flosser or interdental brushes. The best tool is the one you’ll actually use every day!
During Smile Month, let's commit to the full routine to keep your gums firm and your breath fresh.
