Another day of DSP Week and another group of incredible people to celebrate! 💙

Today it’s our Job Coaches, INK 186 team, and Supported Employment staff taking center stage!

They encourage. They teach. They problem-solve. They open doors. And most importantly, they believe in the abilities of the people we support and help them succeed out in our community.

These pictures say a lot about who they are and the connections they make every day.

This is what making a difference looks like. And we think they’re pretty awesome! 💙👏

DSP Week gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate the incredible people who show up every day with compassion, patience, humor and heart.

These faces represent so much of what makes SPARC, SPARC. They support, encourage, problem-solve, cheer people on—and somehow manage to keep smiling through it all. ❤️

So today, we’re simply saying HATS OFF to our amazing DSPs! We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re pretty darn lucky to have you on Team SPARC!

🎉💙 DSP WEEK IS HERE… AND IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE! 💙🎉

All week long at SPARC, we’re shining the spotlight on the people who spend every day making sure others have the opportunity to live, work, laugh, belong and experience all the things that make a life a life.

Our DSPs are encouragers, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, advocates, chauffeurs, cooks, confidants—and occasionally miracle workers before their second cup of coffee. ☕😉

They celebrate the wins no one else may notice. They offer a hand when it’s needed and know when to step back and let someone do it themselves. They bring patience on the hard days, laughter on the crazy ones, and compassion to all the days in between.

And most importantly, they show up. ❤️

That kind of commitment deserves more than a thank-you.

So this week, we’re celebrating YOU — our SPARC DSPs! 🥳

We have some fun planned, plenty of recognition to share, and a whole lot of appreciation for the people who bring SPARC’s mission to life every single day.

We are so excited to be the beneficiary of the Inaugural Connecting Springfield Classic Golf Outing!

Join Connecting Springfield on September 26th at Brookhills Golf Club for a day of golf, friendly competition, live music, raffles and plenty of fun — all while raising money to support the people and programs of Sparc! 💚

With 9 AM and Noon shotgun starts, there are two chances to hit the course — and at $160 per foursome, grab three friends and make a day of it!

Not a golfer? You can still be part of the fun through a hole sponsorship or donation.

We are incredibly grateful to Connecting Springfield for choosing Sparc for their very first golf outing. When our community shows up for the people we support, everybody wins. 💚

🏌️‍♀️ Dust off those clubs, practice that swing (or don’t 😂), and we’ll see you on the green!

👑 All hail Queen Claudette ! 👑

Claudette celebrated her birthday in true royal fashion—dressed like the Queen she is, with Sparc staff and some of her closest friends surrounding her to take part in the coronation…oops, we mean birthday celebration! 🎂👑

Special comes in all sorts of flavors. Special days. Special friends. Special staff. And when you put them all together, you get some pretty special memories.

Happy Birthday, Queen Claudette! We hope your day made you feel every bit as special as you are to your Sparc family. ❤️

There’s a little something for everyone at the Illinois State Fair—from the music and midway to all that fair food you just have to try! 🎡🎶🌭

Bri and Bill had the best time taking it all in, enjoying the sights, sounds and, of course, a few tasty treats along the way. Days like this are what summer is all about—getting out, having fun and making some great memories together.

Looks like these two know exactly how to do the Illinois State Fair! ❤️🎡

Nothing like a bite to eat after a day at work! ❤️

Some of our ladies from Lindbergh and Maggie Drive enjoyed getting together for dinner after work—because everyone likes to enjoy a little no-cooking night once in a while! 😊

Good food, good company, and no dishes waiting at home. Sounds like a pretty good way to end the day to us!

Sometimes something beautiful gets to be appreciated more than once. 🌸🌼

Thanks to the generosity of a local funeral home, flowers that had served their purpose in honoring someone’s life were donated to Sparc—and our folks found a wonderful way to give them a second life.

With a little creativity, those flowers became some pretty special works of art. We love seeing the imagination and individuality that comes through in every creation.

A simple donation, a little creativity, and something beautiful continues on. 💐

Some people have a way of making a place feel like home. ❤️

Today we celebrate one of those very special people.

Happy Birthday to our Dixie!

For more than 25 years, Dixie has been part of the Sparc family. Through every season, every celebration, and every ordinary day, she has reminded us that the greatest gifts we can give one another are a smile, a laugh, and a kind heart.

Today she celebrated with her Sparc family—Dawn, Sarah, Angie, and the one always making sure the memories are captured, Lula behind the camera. It’s a simple picture, but it tells a beautiful story of friendship, belonging, and the family we’ve built together.

Dixie, thank you for making Sparc a brighter place simply by being you. Your laughter is contagious, your spirit is uplifting, and your presence has touched countless lives over the past 25 years.

Here’s to celebrating you today and to all the joy you’ve shared with the rest of us.
