Springfield Swim Team

Thanks for all the 141 swimmers who swam this season. Good luck to the graduates who are leaving the team for college and senior year in High School. Thanks to the Coach Karen, Coach Kelsey, Coach Blair for helping us be awesome and cool swimmers this summer with a record of 5 wins and 3 loses.

All swimmers for Springfield must check in with coaches by 7:30am or they will be scratched from the meet no exceptions.

Monday July 25th- Divisional Championships at the Springfield Pool

Tuesday July 26th- Divisional championship rain date otherwise Water Polo for all swimmers

Wednesday July 27th- Meet of champions practice and pasta party

Thursday July 28th- Meet of Champions at New Providence Pool

Friday July 29th- End of Season Awards dinner for those who attended the requirement number of swim meets at the Springfield Community Pool and if it rains the awards dinner will be held at Chisholm (5:30pm is the dinner and 6:30pm is the awards ceremony)

Divisional championships are on Monday July 25th at the Springfield Community Pool

Reminder: All swimmers need sign up for the top 3 events you want to swim in at Divisionals (Sign Ups for swimmers that are going to the Divisional Championships will be taken down on Thursday July 21st 2016). All parents that are going to the Divisional Championships please sign up on the swim team bulletin board to volunteer at the Divisional Championships because we can't run this huge meet without your help

Bowling Night for those who signed up to attend is tonight at 6:00pm and Hanover Lanes. If any swimmers who are going that haven't signed up for a lane please go see Karen because we have a limit amount of people per lane

Divisional championships are on Monday July 25th at the Springfield Community Pool. Swimmers please sign up for 3 events you want to compete in. Divisional Championship sign ups for the swimmers will be taken down on Thursday July 21st so for any swimmers who didn't sign up yet please sign up on the Swim Team bulletin board which is located at the front of the pool on the wall heading to the snack bar area. All 4 teams we swam this year which are Morris Township, Cedar Grove, Maplewood, Mountainside come to the Springfield Community Pool to swim in this big meet (This meet has no team outcome, all swimmers compete at individual level. The top 16 swimmers out of all 4 Divisions than advance to the Meet of Champions in New Providence)

The Maplewood Pool is located at 187 Boyden Avenue, Maplewood NJ 07040. It is approximately 4 miles away and should take about 15 minutes without traffic. The Directions for this swim meet will be on the Front Desk at the Springfield Community Pool
