We can win an argument with somebody and still walk right past their pain.
Tomorrow at Epiphany Baptist, we’ll open Luke 10:25–37 and hear Jesus’ call to see the person, cross the distance, and let compassion cost us something.
DON’T WALK PAST
Who is in front of you—and what might one act of mercy look like?
Come worship with us. Bring a friend, and let’s consider how the mercy we’ve received can shape the mercy we show.

What if someone asks you why you believe what you believe?
Why do you believe Jesus is who He said He is?
How can a loving God allow suffering?
Can we really trust the Bible?
Why is Jesus the only way?
What evidence is there for the resurrection?
Sometimes those questions come from someone else. Sometimes, if we’re willing to admit it, they’re our own questions.
Scripture doesn’t tell us to run from them.
“...being ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear.” — 1 Peter 3:15
That’s what apologetics is about. It isn’t about winning arguments. It’s about knowing why we have hope, being willing to listen to honest questions, and learning how to point people back to Jesus with truth, gentleness, and respect.
Bring your questions. Bring your doubts. Bring the question you’ve always wanted to ask but were afraid to.
Join our elders for Apologetics — Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM at Epiphany Baptist Church.
Come learn with us. Come ask with us. Come grow with us.
Because the goal isn’t simply having all the answers. The goal is knowing the One our answers ultimately point to. ❤️

Come curious. Leave equipped. ❤️

Today's Message: My Yoke Is Easy

Are you tired—not just physically tired, but soul tired?
Some burdens don’t sit on your shoulders. They sit on your soul.
Today’s message, “My Yoke Is Easy,” comes from one of the greatest invitations Jesus ever gave:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28
Join us today at 11:07 a.m. at Epiphany Baptist Church as we discover what it means to stop carrying the wrong yoke and find true rest in Jesus.
What a great Sunday at Epiphany!
Today we talked about something Jesus talked about a LOT…our money, our possessions, and what they reveal about our hearts.
Jesus said:
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21
And maybe we’ve been reading that verse backwards.
Jesus didn’t say where your HEART is, your treasure will follow…
He said where your TREASURE goes…your HEART follows.
The truth is, biblical giving isn’t really about God trying to get something from us. It’s about learning to trust the One who gave everything to us in the first place.
Everything we have belongs to Him.
The tithe is more than an amount…it’s an order.
God FIRST.
And ultimately, today’s message wasn’t really about our giving at all.
It was about His.
“For God so loved the world, that He GAVE…”
God didn’t give us His leftovers.
He gave His Son.
And Jesus didn’t tithe His blood…
HE GAVE IT ALL.
So perhaps the biggest question from today isn’t, “How much am I giving?”
It’s…
WHO REALLY OWNS IT?
My money. My possessions. My plans. My future. My heart. My life.
If you missed today, we’d love to have you with us next Sunday at Epiphany Baptist Church. There’s always a place for you here! ❤️
