Springfield Learning Tree is a Certified Childcare Center serving children ages 3 months to 10 years.
It has always been a goal of the Learning Tree to become a home away from home for all children who enter it. Nurturing, quality staff members and balanced educational programs promote children's healthy development. Communication between home and school, in both directions, is a key element of the Learning Tree's success.

Please join me in welcoming two new members of our Learning Tree Family!
Macaira is one of our amazing Floaters. She gives lunch breaks and jumps in to support each classroom wherever she’s needed and she’s already been doing a fantastic job!
She is currently studying Psychology with a minor in Spanish, and has experience working with kiddos at outdoor school. Coming from a big family full of siblings and cousins, she is comfortable in fast paced environments!
✨Fun fact: Macaira is a twin!
Kaley is joining our family in the Honeybee classroom. She has jumped right in and already built strong connections with the kiddos.
Kaley brings six years of childcare experience, having worked as a camp counselor, after-school program director, and Pre-K lead teacher. We are excited to have her skills and experience in the Honeybees

•VERONICA• Is one of our new Caterpillar teachers. She has over 3 years of teacher long experience. She enjoys reading going on walks and cooking.
•SARA• Is one of our new butterflies teachers. She has over 20 years of experience. She loves to crochet craft and garden.
•NATANIA• Is one of our new Ladybug teachers, she just graduated with her degree in education fundamentals. She enjoys spending time with friends and grew up in the Bahamas!
We are so excited to have them apart of our team! If you see them in the hall make sure to say hi 😊
Due to the current freezing rain, I am going to delay opening to 9am tomorrow 2/14. I will assess and update again in the morning.
For Thursday 2/13/25, we are closed for the day due to inclement weather. The safety of our staff and families is our top priority. Stay safe and warm!

Springfield SD will be closed today
Today 2/13/25 we are planning to open at 10:00 am due to icy road comditions
****IMPORTANT****
Donna and I have been watching the weather throughout the night. The ice has just started in many areas. In order to insure the safety of our families and staff, Springfield Learning Tree will be opening at 10am. If anything changes we will notify you through the app, Facebook and Voicemail. As of right now we will not be operating our morning bus runs. We will send out another message to treehouse to let you know what the afternoon looks like.
