🐾 KRHS |

Let’s take it back to the 2003-2004 school year, specifically featuring the Kenton Ridge Choir! 🎤

These choir members helped carry forward a musical tradition our community has enjoyed for generations! 🎶 Their dedication, teamwork, and love of music helped shape the choir experience we know today, and their legacy continues through the students who take the stage today. 🌟

That tradition continues on October 9 at the Homecoming football game, where our Cougars Choir will kick off the game by performing the Alma Mater and National Anthem! 🤎💛 Come be part of the tradition, celebrate our current singers, and cheer them on as they take the field! 🎶🐾📣

🐾 KRES | Magnet Detectives! 🧲

Second graders at Kenton Ridge Elementary School became Magnet Detectives earlier this school year! 🏫

Wizards of Wright (WOW) is a Wright-Patt Educational program that brings volunteers from Wright-Patt into the classroom to teach students about a variety of science topics. During this hands-on lesson, students explored the science of magnets by testing the strength of magnetic force, making predictions, and discovering which objects were magnetic. They also learned how magnets can attract and repel one another!

These 2nd graders put their detective skills to work by testing everyday objects like pennies, paper clips, pipe cleaners, and rubber bands to see which ones would stick. 📎🪙 There was plenty of excitement as they made their predictions and found out which objects were magnetic!

It was an exciting, hands-on experiment that helped second graders learn about magnets, make predictions, and be scientists! 🧪🔍
