The Spring Ag-Venture Barn is touring this week! Meet the farm animals traveling to local, Sangamon County elementary schools in our mobile barn to help educate students about the animals we might see on a farm and the products they provide. Thank you to all who volunteered their time, Prairieland FS, Inc., for lending us a truck, and those who continually support this program by allowing us to use their animals to educate our local youth! We couldn't possibly make this tour happen without their help!

Deputy Drops By for a Field Visit!

This week, we visited with one of Sangamon County’s Sheriff’s Deputies. Deputy Chastain is shown here talking with Scott Landrey, SCFB President, and one of his employees, Hoyt Hampton. Farm Bureau and Sheriff Crouch are committed to getting deputies out on farms to learn more about their work and the challenges they face related to law enforcement needs. These visits build important relationships that benefit not only farm families but also all rural communities.
