Our Story

Hello All! My name is Emily Shannon. I am a Certified Professional Dog Walker and a graduate of the dog*biz Dog Walking Academy. My first priority is always the safety and well-being of your dog which is why I am certified in canine first aid and CPR. My next priority is fun! That’s why I will only ever use scientifically backed positive reinforcement techniques when working with your dog, so we can build a bond of trust while having (well behaved) adventures.

After earning my degree in psychology at the University of Oregon and spending some time working in that field, I did some soul searching and realized that there is nothing that makes me feel as happy or fulfilled as working with animals. Now I’m am living my dream by spending my days enriching the lives of as many dogs as I can.

Though we all love our pups, I know that there are times when the facts of life make us leave them alone at home longer than we may like. And after a long day at work or running errands, strapping on your tennis shoes and going for a long walk with a hyper dog that’s been cooped up all day is often the last thing you want to do. That’s where my services come in! Your dog can get out and have an adventure while you’re gone for the day, so when you get home, they are more than happy to join you as you kick off your shoes and relax!
