I’m excited to announce that an original piece of mine, “Abide In Me,” is being featured on the GIA reading sessions this summer! It is based on the passage in John chapter 15, where Jesus says that he is the vine, and we are the branches. It will be sung in Santa Monica, Houston, New York, Minneapolis, and Pittsburg. It’s also available for purchase at the GIA website, along with a few other church pieces. Hope you all are having a great summer!

New Album In the Works! -

New Album In the Works! My talented friend Claire Herzog and I are collaborating on a new album called Whimsy Willow, recorded by Captain Sibley (and of course, I got my husband, Sam, involved on the mandolin!). It is a fusion of folk, bluegrass, and jazz, and each original song is a soothing lullaby for the soul.

This week we’ve been leading a songwriting class for 8-12 year olds at the Faith and the Arts Academy! We help the students write a song and then they get to record it with Captain Sibley. It’s been so neat to see what they come up with!
