Hancock Family Farm

🍑 With peach and blackberry season as well as many other crops fully underway at Hancock Family Farm, things can get busy, that’s a part of the good works and life we get to be a part of upon this land. But when the market shuts down for the day we truly enjoy our time together as a family, walking around, riding bikes and  checking out the good stuff together.

While exploring another crop of tomatoes, the corn has begun to tassle and the girls are having too much fun being kids, remember when you lost your first front tooth? Sweet Jade just did and her smile couldn’t be brighter. 🦷✨

🌞Harvest season is a special time, getting to share meals around the dinner table with friends and family… to be able to share and taste the fruits of our labor with you is a blessing. God is good, all the time.

We’re open today 9am to 6pm at our market in Springfield and our farm stand in Nashville is open too!

Here’s the Hancock rundown:

🍑 Fresh tree ripened Garnet Beauty peaches.
💥 Blackberries
🧅 Lee’s Candy Onions
🥒 Cucumbers and summer squash
🫑 Peppers

We’ve also sourced some other amazing produce, local proteins, eggs and diary too!

The Amish Baked Goods are in and we’ve got a fresh batch of

🌸 Flowers, hanging baskets and other plants are outside in our garden area.

🍦The Ice cream is flowing so come n’ get it!

🚜 As the old farmer saying goes “good rain in June sets all in tune” and we couldn’t agree more as Hancock grown 🍑peach and 💥blackberry seasons are here at our market in Springfield and our farm stand

But there’s more- 🧅Lee’s candy onions, 🥒cucumbers and squash are up for harvest and soon there will be 🌽corn!

May showers brought lots of 🌸 Summer flowers to support your gardening and planting needs.

Inside our market in Springfield we have responsibly grown and sourced fresh 🥬Vegetables, 🥩🐓🐖Local Farm Raised Meats, 🥚Eggs, 🥛 JD’s Glass Jar Milk, Local Dairy Products, Canned Goods, Candies and other fare to feed your family right. Ice Cream is being served inside so stop on by.🍦

🍑Peaches are here! This Garnet Beauty peach variety are grown locally, right here at Hancock Family Farm in Robertson County.

These peaches are tree-ripened and ready to go from our farm to your table. This variety of peach is tasty with great texture and
it’s important when you bring them home to allow them to ripen off vine to the level of softness and texture that you enjoy ☺️

So there you have it, it’s now peach season and blackberry season at our local farm so stop on by and enjoy some of our favorite
treats from our Hancock harvest!

June is in full swing at Hancock Family Farm and that means our blackberries are back! Sweet, plump and juicy, we are grateful to share this next harvest of the season with you!

Available at our market in Springfield and at the in Nashville, we look forward to sharing this taste of summer with you!

🧅 We are excited to announce that our son Lee has brought up the first rounds of his Candy Onions which y’all know and love. Fresh picked and tasty as ever Lee’s Candy Onion harvest has kicked off.

💥 To top that off, we shall have more fresh picked Hancock blackberries right off the cane today as well!

👉Some folks ask why we don’t have them sometimes once it’s season and to answer that- sometimes it’s because folks are buying faster than we can pick em’ and other times the weather doesn’t permit us to. We appreciate your understanding as we most certainly want everyone to get their blackberry fix on!

Otherwise we’re all stocked for Saturday and ready to visit with you so don’t be a stranger. 😉

☀️Temperatures are rising, the 🍦ice cream is flowing and we thank these linemen who stopped by on their lunch breaks for a quick ice cream cool down. We appreciate you and remember we have lots of parking across the street by our Hancock barn with the sign on it so don’t worry if you’re running large vehicles or loads, please feel welcome to pull on in and park away!

The last weekend of May is here and 🥩🐓🐖 we have local proteins stocked in the coolers, local eggs and dairy too. 🥒🫛🧅🥬🍅 Produce is ready for you.

Fresh baked Amish goods arrive today and a fried pie restock by so hurry up they go fast!

Coming into June there’s much to do on the farm and with Father’s Day coming up June 21st we have gift certificates available and much more!

🌅 With blackberry season here at Hancock Family Farm and Lee’s Candy onions 🧅 on deck, last night we took a moment to give thanks as the sun set- for the rain has greened and plumped things up again at our farm.

Green tomatoes now here and so much more on the way, every season has so many things to be excited about and shared.

We are grateful to share our passion and our harvest with you.

☀️ And blackberry season has begun at Hancock Family Farm Y’ALL.

We will have fresh picked Hancock grown blackberries this morning when we open.

Yesterday afternoon the sun broke and with that gentle wind 🌬️ it gave us the perfect window of opportunity to pick these delicious berries right off the cane and cannot wait to share them with you.

🌸 More of our Hancock grown flowers and baskets are ready to find their way to a new home and we have beautiful plants too.

Fresh picked zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers and green tomatoes are here for those who’ve been asking.

Open 9am to 6pm at our Market in Springfield and 8am to 4pm at the Nashville Farmers’ Market.
